A little more than four months since the company's arrival
on the Myrtle Beach golf scene, Arnold Palmer Golf Management is already making
waves with a frequent player program designed to return golfers to their
favorite greens and fairways without dealing a significant blow to their
monthly budgets.
In early October, the Myrtle Beach Sun News reported that more than 280 players had signed up for the Players Club program within the first two weeks that it was available.
"It's probably the first time we've had anything like it," Legends assistant professional Barry Johnston told the Sun News. "Almost 300 members in two weeks, I'd say people are happy to see it. It's good for everybody."
For just $29 per month, the rate for a six-month agreement, The Players Club Pass entitles the passholder to cart fee only-golf after 2:30 p.m. on the three golf courses at the Legends complex (Heathland, Moorland and Parkland) as well as Oyster Bay, which is located in Sunset Beach, N.C.
Additional benefits to those who sign up for the program include: weekly complimentary professional instructional clinic access and USGA handicap service. You'll also receive a dozen Titleist Pro V1 golf balls for free when you join.
The first family member added to the program will cost $19 per month, and after that up to two more family members may be added for just $10 per month. Golfers interested in a more seasonal package can sign up for a three-month membership plan, which costs $35 per month.
