Panther's Run was born to be a different kind of challenge. The serious golfer can enjoy two distinct layouts in a single round. The front nine is reminiscent of the best Carolina Lowcountry courses, with wetlands in play on a number of holes. The back nine was inspired by the ancient links courses of Scotland. The dramatic elevation changes and the seclusion provided by the non-parallel fairways are among the stunning characteristics of this definitive Tim Cate design. Winding its way along the edge of a nature preserve, the layout continually and consistently tests the golfer's abilities. Wide fairways that twist and turn and present you with a variety of lies, along with scenic water features, blend to create one of the most visually interesting courses in the Carolinas. Panther's Run was voted "Top 100 Fairways" by Golf for Women Magazine 2000-2001 and named to Golf Digest’s list of the “Top 50 Courses of Myrtle Beach.”
