Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club was recently recognized among the upper echelon of golf facilities in the U.S. by the readers of Golf World in the magazine's second annual Readers Choice Awards. Pawleys Plantation also ranked among the top 27 courses in the state of South Carolina, which boasts more than 360 quality layouts. About being included in such a list, Director of Marketing at Pawleys Plantation, Jann Walker, told the Georgetown Times, “There was more competition for the awards this year, so it’s especially nice to rank so highly again. “We work hard to provide a golf experience that is memorable and reader surveys like this show that we are on the right track,” Walker added. “It’s also exciting to be ranked up there with much more expensive resorts like Kiawah and Hilton Head.
