Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday announced that Norm Bayens of Aurora, Colorado, will receive an all-expense paid trip for himself and three friends to experience golf in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as the winner of the “Play a Round ith Natalie Gulbis” contest.

In addition to receiving airfare for four and four nights’ accommodations, the Bayens group will play three rounds of golf at premier Myrtle Beach area courses, including one round with one of the LPGA’s hottest stars, Natalie Gulbis.

Bayens and his guests will arrive in Myrtle Beach on Friday, November 16, 2007, and will spend the next three days playing at premier Myrtle Beach area courses; Tidewater Golf Club and Plantation, Myrtlewood Palmetto and Grande Dunes Resort. Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday will also present Bayens with a $250 gift certificate at PGA TOUR Superstore, a rental car and breakfast each day.

“I’m looking forward to my first visit to Myrtle Beach,” said Bayens. “I’ve never been to the “Golf Capital of the World” and don’t know what to expect except great golf courses, warmer temperatures and green grass. I’m excited to have the opportunity to play golf with Natalie Gulbis. I started following her career two years when the U.S. Open as held in Colorado and I worked as a marshal during the tournament. My wife and two sons will be joining me so this will be a great family trip to the Grand Strand.”

Golfers registered for the “Play a Round with Natalie Gulbis” sweepstakes on Golf Channel’s Web site, TheGolfChannel.com, from February 1 through May 31, 2007, with more than 70,000 entries received online.

“We’re excited to partner with Golf Channel to reward one lucky golfer with a once-in-a lifetime golf vacation in Myrtle Beach,” said Bill Golden, Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday’s vice president and director of marketing. “Gulbis is one of the rising stars on the LPGA Tour and we’re happy to provide Norm with the opportunity to play Grande Dunes Resort with her. The Grand Strand is home to the highest concentration of “Top 100” courses in the United States and by winning the contest, Norm automatically became the most popular member of his golf circle with all-expense paid trips to Myrtle Beach for three of his friends.”
