Barefoot Resort - The Love Course N. Myrtle Beach

Considered one of Davis Love III's finest courses, The Love Course at Barefoor Resort will both challenge golfers with its design and awe them with its beauty.

Love, a nature of North Carolina, incorporates traditonal Lowcountry character into this visually striking course that features recreated ruins of an old plantation house along holes three through seven.

Perhaps the par-72 design lies in the difficult green complexes similiar to the crowned surfaces at Pinehurst Number 2.

Wide-open fairways and generous landing areas make the course playable for all golfers, yet accuracy both off the tee and into the greens are a premium on this course. The only Love course on the Grand Strand, the course stretches to more than 7,000-yards from the tips, but features four tee boxes allowing for golfers of all levels to enjoy play.

Carolina native, Davis Love, III embraces a tradition of Lowcountry character in his design at Barefoot Resort. The Love course incorporates the recreated ruins of an old plantation home along holes 3-7. Wide, open fairways and generous landing areas set the stage for an unforgettable round of golf that will challenge the good player, yet provide playability for those of average skill levels.

Tee boxes and fairways consist of GN-1, a hybrid turf developed by Greg Norman Turf, and approaches consist of Tif-sport Bermuda grass. Green surfaces are A-1 Bentgrass and rough areas are 419 Bermuda grass.
